EVENT REPORT · 25th DURIA DSC-Treffen, Düren, 18 September 2026
One memory across the whole patient journey. That is the vision behind Nixi AI: clinical information should not disappear at the end of a consultation. What was said, understood, documented and decided becomes usable context that carries forward with the patient.
At the 25th DSC-Treffen of DURIA in Düren on 18 September 2026, Nixi AI showed how this vision is already becoming part of the everyday practice workflow through its integration with DURIA. Nixi AI was at Stand 7, and Isabella David presented the platform to the DURIA Support Centers in the first third-party presentation slot of the day.
Bringing the memory-first approach of Nixi AI into DURIA
Nixi AI is built around a simple idea: the memory of medicine. Healthcare generates large amounts of information across conversations, documentation, decisions and follow-up. Nixi AI turns those individual moments into structured clinical context that supports the next step in care.
The integration with DURIA brings that approach straight into the practice-management software physicians already use. Nixi AI launches from the Nixi AI button in the DURIA toolbar, and the Nixi AI widget opens alongside the patient record on the same screen.
Through the DURIA REST API, relevant patient information can be made available to Nixi AI, and completed documentation goes back into the patient record with one click. Nixi AI becomes part of the existing clinical environment rather than another separate system.
From the stage to the conversations at Stand 7
After the presentation, the conversations continued at the Nixi AI stand throughout the day. DURIA Support Centers explored the integration with the team and raised practical questions about implementation, onboarding, support, existing customer relationships and bringing AI-supported workflows into medical practices.
For Nixi AI, these conversations are an important part of building technology that works in everyday care. The technical integration is one layer. Making it fit the established relationships between physicians, practice teams, practice-management systems and regional IT providers is another.

Mehran Barzegari and Dr. med. Florian Ott discuss the next steps
Nixi AI co-founder and CTO Mehran Barzegari was also in Düren and met Dr. med. Florian Ott, Chairman of the Executive Board of Duria eG.
They discussed the existing DURIA integration of Nixi AI, its technical and operational development, and continued cooperation in the DURIA ecosystem. A further focus was the role of the independent DURIA Support Centers: how Nixi AI can work with them to introduce, onboard and support practices that want to use Nixi AI within their DURIA environment.

Working with the DURIA Support Center network
DURIA Support Centers play an important role in introducing and supporting DURIA in medical practices in their region. Nixi AI is therefore building its partner programme directly with interested, independent Support Centers.
In this model, Nixi AI takes on product onboarding, training and ongoing product support, and the Support Centers introduce Nixi AI to interested practices among their customers. The aim is to make adoption as simple as possible for the practice and for the IT partner who looks after its DURIA environment.

One memory across the whole patient journey
The DURIA integration is an important step in the platform vision of Nixi AI. A consultation creates more than a document. It creates clinical context: symptoms, decisions, treatment plans, information for further care and medical knowledge that gains value when it stays available for the next step.
Nixi AI is working towards a future in which that context is preserved across the whole patient journey. Medicine forgets. Nixi AI does not. With Nixi AI inside DURIA, this approach starts where physicians already work today.
