How to Install Nixi AI as a Desktop App
(Mac & Windows)

Why do this?
  • Faster Access: Open Nixi directly from your Dock or Taskbar.
  • More Space: Removes the browser address bar for a clean, full-screen experience.
  • Native Feel: Works exactly like installed software.

    Step 1: Install from Chrome (Easiest Method)
  • Open Google Chrome and go to app.nixiai.ai.
  • Look at the right side of the address bar (URL bar).
  • Click the small Computer/Download Icon 📥 (or "Install Nixi AI").
  • Click Install.
  • Result: Nixi will immediately pop out into its own separate window.

    Step 2: Pin to your Taskbar or Dock

    Once the Nixi app window is open, make sure it stays there.

    • For Mac Users (Dock):
      1. Look at your Dock (bottom of screen).
      2. Right-click (or Control-click) the Nixi AI logo.
      3. Select Options > Keep in Dock.
    • For Windows Users (Taskbar):
      1. Look at your Taskbar (bottom of screen).
      2. Right-click the Nixi AI logo.
      3. Select Pin to taskbar.

    Troubleshooting: "I don't see the install icon"

    If the icon isn't in your address bar:

    1. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner of Chrome.
    2. Select Cast, Save and Share (or "More Tools").
    3. Click Install Nixi AI... or Create Shortcut...
