Clinical pharmacist trained in Tehran. Years of hospital and community pharmacy night shifts before moving into pharmaceutical-industry data interoperability. Designed cloud-based supply-chain compliance systems across three continents at BioNTech. Previously global strategic marketing at Boehringer Ingelheim. MSc International Business from ISM Frankfurt (Best Thesis nominee); completed Stanford Online's AI in Healthcare certificate. Drives Nixi's clinical partnerships, business strategy, and go-to-market.
Mehran Barzegari, PharmD, MSc Health Economics
Co-founder & CTO, shareholder
Clinical pharmacist who took the longest hospital shifts. Built ML systems for orthopaedic implant recommendation (88% top-3 accuracy, n=47) before founding work. Previously global Health Economics & Outcomes Research at Boehringer Ingelheim, supporting the diabetes CDSS (clinical decision support). MSc Health Economics from Hochschule Fresenius, Wiesbaden; completed Harvard Medical School Executive Education's Integrated Healthcare Innovation program. Architected Nixi's GDPR-native platform single-handedly and built the GDT integrations to German PVS systems through hands-on work in clinic server rooms, and built and deployed AI pipelines for Nixi AI accuracy and reliability improvements.
